Each door features a robust three-layer construction: a tough steel exterior, 2 inches of Clopay’s proprietary Intellicore® polyurethane foam insulation, and a strong steel backing. This insulation process fills every inch of the door, giving it outstanding strength and helps regulate the temperature inside the garage.
Tongue-and-groove section joints help keep out wind, rain, and snow, while a replaceable vinyl bottom seal in a corrosion-resistant aluminum retainer keeps dust and moisture at bay. Heavy-duty 14-gauge steel hinges and smooth 10-ball nylon rollers come standard for reliable, quiet operation.
