maintenance, and related services. All services are subject to technician availability,
safety considerations, and service area limitations.


2. Estimates and Scope of Work

  • Quotes provided online or by phone are preliminary estimates only.
  • Final pricing may change after an in-person inspection.
  • Hidden damage, unsafe conditions, or additional required parts may alter the scope of work.
  • Customer approval will be obtained before additional chargeable work is performed whenever reasonably possible.
  • Diagnostic or service call fees may apply regardless of whether repairs are completed.

3. Scheduling and Appointment Windows

  • Appointment times are estimated arrival windows and are not guaranteed exact times.
  • Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, emergencies, prior service calls, or parts availability.
  • Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the property.
  • If technicians cannot access the property upon arrival, a service fee may apply.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate service and contact information.
  • Ensure the garage and surrounding work area are reasonably clear and accessible.
  • Secure pets and remove hazards prior to technician arrival.
  • Provide safe electrical access where required.
  • Disclose known mechanical, electrical, or structural issues affecting the garage door system.

5. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

The Company reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if unsafe conditions,
harassment, illegal activity, structural hazards, or circumstances beyond reasonable safety standards exist.


6. Payments and Billing

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods may include credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments.
  • Unpaid balances may be subject to collections where permitted by law.
  • Customer agrees that completed services authorize payment processing.
  • Customer agrees not to initiate improper chargebacks for completed and authorized services.

7. Parts Availability and Delays

The Company is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturer shortages,
supplier delays, shipping interruptions, or circumstances outside our control.


8. Warranties

  • Manufacturer warranties apply only to eligible parts and are administered by the manufacturer.
  • Labor warranties, if offered, apply only to workmanship performed by our Company.
  • Warranty coverage excludes misuse, accidents, lack of maintenance, weather damage,
    power surges, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear.
  • Warranty coverage may be void if equipment is serviced or modified by third parties.

9. Photo and Service Documentation Authorization

Technicians may photograph or document garage door systems and work areas before,
during, and after service for quality assurance, internal documentation,
training, and dispute resolution purposes.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Farnsworth Garage Door Services shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of access to property or inconvenience
  • Pre-existing mechanical or structural conditions
  • Failures of aging or worn components not replaced during service
  • Damage related to previously installed or third-party equipment

Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service performed.


11. Emergency and Same-Day Services

Emergency or same-day services are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed.
Additional fees may apply for after-hours, weekend, or holiday services.


12. Communications Consent (Calls, Texts & Emails)

By contacting us or providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications including:

  • Appointment confirmations
  • Technician arrival updates
  • Customer support communications
  • Service follow-ups

13. Call Recording

Calls may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance, training,
fraud prevention, and dispute resolution where permitted by law.
