The warranty on your new door is a limited warranty from Clopay Building Products to the original single-family homeowner. Coverage begins on the date your door is delivered. Terms below are transcribed directly from Clopay's official warranty PDFs — we don't invent numbers.

#### Important terms that apply to every Clopay residential door

-   **Non-transferable** — coverage stays with the original purchaser and does not carry over to a new homeowner if you sell.
-   **Labor is not covered.** Clopay's warranty covers parts and materials. Removal, reinstallation, and finishing labor are the homeowner's responsibility — but that's where a local Clopay dealer like Farnsworth matters: we handle the warranty claim with Clopay on your behalf and quote fair labor separately.
-   **45-day inspection window.** Any visible or immediate defects must be reported within 45 days of delivery.
-   **Proof of purchase is required** for any claim.

    Great experience today with Brigham and Farnsworth. Garage Doors! Wife backed into and dented the bottom panel backing out of the garage before the door was fully open. Getting quotes and find since the door is 20 years old I can’t just replace the bottom panel. Brigham put a shoulder to the bend and straighted it, not perfect but better than it was, and added a couple of screw to keep things and place, for no charge! At some point will likely have to replace the door but this works for now!
