It's the collection we recommend for Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Fountain Hills homes with a modern or mid-century modern exterior where the strong horizontal architecture wants a garage door to match. The modern district of DC Ranch, Encanterra, and Marley Park see the most Horizon installs - homes where the horizontal geometry of the architecture needs a door to match. You get equal glass heights across every section, glass options up to 8 feet wide, and the ClearView strut system that adds strength without breaking the viewing area. Glass choices run wide: clear, obscure, ThermaPro Low-E, green tint, bronze tint, gray tint, Grey Lite, Frost, Snow, Whiteout, and Black Ice - 11 options total. Frame finishes are equally deep: six anodized aluminum finishes plus 27 powder coat or Kynar paint colors, matched with an exterior handle option. Because Horizon is aluminum rather than insulated steel, the warranty class is different - HO1000 covers 5 years on paint (single family) and 5 years on sections, hardware, and springs. That's the standard for architectural aluminum full-view doors industry-wide. WindPro reinforcement is available for monsoon wind loads. As a local Amarr dealer, Farnsworth Garage installs Horizon on contemporary homes across the Phoenix area. Call us to walk the opening and talk through glass and finish options. If you want the same aluminum full-view feel but with larger square glass sections instead of narrow horizontals, see our [Vista](https://farnsworthgarage.com/amarr-garage-door-options/vista/) page. ## Real Installs ![MultiView design in Dark Bronze finish with Frost glass.](https://farnsworthgarage.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/horizon-Horizon1.jpg) ![MultiView design in White finish with Bronze tint glass.](https://farnsworthgarage.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/horizon-Horizon2.jpg) ![MultiView design in Dark Bronze finish with Clear glass.](https://farnsworthgarage.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/horizon-Horizon3.jpg) ![MultiView design in Medium Bronze finish with Bronze tint glass.](https://farnsworthgarage.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/horizon-Horizon4.jpg) ![MultiView design in Black finish with Snow glass.](https://farnsworthgarage.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/horizon-Horizon5.jpg) ## Key Features ### WindPro Wind-Load Reinforcement Available on this collection where local codes call for it - important for Arizona monsoon straight-line winds and rare-but-real high-wind events. ### ClearView Strut System Reinforces wide aluminum full-view doors without cutting into the viewing area - keeps sightlines uninterrupted on tall openings. ## Construction & Insulation - Available with WindPro wind load reinforcement specifically built to withstand specific high-wind pressures to meet local building codes. - WaterLok joint & glazing seal system featuring new and improved wide tongue and groove section joints with leading-edge bulb seal and bottom weather seal for enhanced air-tight and water-resistant performance - ClearView strut system for up to 24' wide doors does not restrict viewing area and adds strength and durability to doors. ## Panel Styles & Finish Options A full-view aluminum-and-glass door reads as architecture, not a garage. Below are the panel infill choices, aluminum finishes, and glass tints available on this collection. Colors approximated from Amarr's official finish brochures — the real finish can read a little differently in Arizona daylight, so check the finish brochure in the Downloads section below before you settle on a color. ![Horizon Multiview Dark Brown Garage Door](https://farnsworthgarage.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/horizon-hero-h-multiview-glazed-dark-brown-anodize-aluminum-single-double-garage-door-FR.opt.webp) ![Horizon Multiview Dark Brown Garage Door](https://farnsworthgarage.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/horizon-carousel-gd-material-aluminum.jpg) ![466347635](https://farnsworthgarage.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/horizon-h-multiview-non-insulated-gray-tint-copper-anodize-aluminum-double-garage-door.opt.webp) ### Panel Options ![Glass panel option](https://farnsworthgarage.com/images/ext/5c54ab307ebb447b.opt.webp) Glass ### Anodize Aluminum Finishes Anodizing electrochemically hardens the aluminum itself — the color is the metal, not a coating on top. We carry Arizona ROC license #351810 and full commercial insurance, and our office answers the phone locally — no call-center runaround, no offshore booking system. Because we install Amarr doors as our day job, our team knows the quirks of every collection — the exact WindPro spec new Queen Creek and Maricopa builds require, the right insulation tier for a west-facing Scottsdale garage, which decorative hardware clears a low-headroom opening. When you buy an Amarr door from Farnsworth, you get a local installer who has installed the same collection dozens of times. ### How the Install Works 1. #### Free in-home consultation A Farnsworth installer walks the opening with you, measures, talks through the colors and options, and hands you a written quote — no obligation, no pressure. 2. #### Precise measurement We measure the width, height, headroom, and side-room of your existing opening to spec the exact door build for your home — no surprises on install day. 3. #### Removal & haul-away of your old door On install day our team removes your old door, cleans up the driveway, and hauls the old sections away. It's always included in the written quote — never a separate line item. 4. #### New Amarr door installation Farnsworth's in-house install team sets your new Amarr Horizon — track, torsion, panels, opener drawback, and safety-sensor alignment. No sub-contractors. 5. #### Final tuning & walkthrough Balance check, tension set, and a walkthrough of how your new door and opener work — remote, keypad, safety reverse, and manual release. ### After the Install Farnsworth doesn't disappear after install day. If something needs adjusting — a track alignment, a rattle, an opener travel-limit tweak — give us a call and we come back out. We offer courtesy tune-ups to keep the door running quietly, and we handle warranty service for both the Amarr door itself *and* the install workmanship. If a part needs replacing under warranty, we coordinate the claim with Amarr for you. That's the "buy with confidence" side of buying from a local dealer instead of a national chain: one number to call for service, one team that knows your install, one relationship. Most of our Amarr installs turn into repeat customers — opener replacements, second-door installs, and the referrals that follow. Farnsworth installs Amarr Amarr Horizon across the Phoenix metro: **[Mesa](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/mesa-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)** (home base), **[Scottsdale](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/scottsdale-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)**, **[Chandler](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/chandler-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)**, **[Gilbert](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/gilbert-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)**, **[Queen Creek](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/queen-creek-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)**, **[Tempe](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/tempe-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)**, **[Phoenix](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/phoenix-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)**, **[Fountain Hills](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/fountain-hills-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)**, **[Apache Junction](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/apache-junction-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)**, **[Gold Canyon](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/gold-canyon-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)**, **[San Tan Valley](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/san-tan-valley-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)**, **[Maricopa](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/maricopa-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)**, and **[Guadalupe](https://farnsworthgarage.com/service-areas-garage-door-repair/guadalupe-arizona-garage-door-repair-and-service/)**. Yours might be different — we measure at the free in-home consultation and quote the exact size for your home. Most common ### Two-car Horizon install Approx. 16' wide × 7' or 8' tall The single 16-foot two-car door is the most common configuration on Phoenix-area homes. On a two-car Horizon, we recommend **a Horizon build with insulated laminated glass for attached garages doubling as workspace** for any attached garage — the extra insulation makes a real difference on the wall the garage shares with your bedroom or living room. Horizon's aluminum frame with full-glazed glass panels scales cleanly across the wider opening, and you can dial in the exact color and glass tint (Clear, Frost, Grey, or Bronze) and frame finish (anodized or powder coat) that matches your home. Townhomes & side entries ### One-car Horizon install Approx. 8' or 9' wide × 7' tall Common on townhomes, casita conversions, and homes with a two-single-door layout instead of one wide door. For a one-car Horizon, **a Horizon build with the anodized aluminum frame and your choice of glass tint (Clear, Frost, Grey, or Bronze)** is the practical default — enough performance for an attached garage without paying for the top-tier build on a smaller door. Same Horizon's aluminum frame with full-glazed glass panels, same color palette, same warranty as the two-car version — just a narrower opening. ## Replace, Upgrade, or New Construction We install the Amarr Horizon across three scenarios most homeowners in the Phoenix area come to us for — whether you're replacing a door that's finally given up, upgrading from a builder-grade panel, or specifying doors on new construction. Replace ### Replace an aging door with the Amarr Horizon Your existing door is 15-30 years old, the panels are dented or faded, the springs are cycling through their last thousand openings, and the annual repair calls are stacking up. We remove the old door, hardware, and tracks, install the new Amarr Horizon with all-new hardware, re-set the torsion springs to the correct IPPT for the door weight, program your existing opener (or install a new one), and haul the old door away the same day. Free written quote on the front end, local Amarr dealer relationship on the back end. Upgrade ### Upgrade to the Amarr Horizon You're moving from a solid steel door on a contemporary home whose owner wants natural light and a modern glass presence — the Horizon full-view aluminum is the pick for North Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Arcadia contemporary builds where flat rooflines and clean stucco planes need a door that finishes the modern statement. Your upgrade path also includes **insulated laminated glass or double-pane options for better thermal performance** — the tier we specify most often on attached Phoenix-area garages because the thermal payback shows up on every July and August electric bill. New Construction ### New construction Amarr Horizon Building a new custom home or handling a major renovation? Amarr Horizon factory lead time is roughly 1-4 weeks factory-direct because every Horizon is built to your frame finish and glass spec, so we build the order timing into your construction schedule. Rough-opening walkthrough before drywall, coordinated install once the door opening is dried in, and we work directly with builders and owners across Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Scottsdale, Queen Creek, Tempe, and the wider Phoenix area. Every Amarr Horizon we install in the Phoenix area is custom-configured to your specific home, so there isn't a single sticker price we can post that will actually match the door you end up with. What we *can* tell you is exactly what moves the number — six factors, in plain English, so you can walk into the conversation with your eyes open instead of guessing at online ranges from companies that have never seen your opening. Rather than a generic range that won't match your home, we send a local Amarr dealer out to your driveway, measure your opening, walk you through the panel, insulation, color, window, and hardware choices, and hand you a written itemized quote. Free, no obligation, no pressure. Here are the six inputs we work through together. The installed price on any Amarr Horizon in Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Scottsdale, Queen Creek, Tempe, and the wider Phoenix area depends on the six factors below. We walk each one with you in person and put the result in writing. Size ### Door size Single-car, double-car, and oversized openings each carry their own material and hardware footprint — the single biggest driver of installed price. Insulation ### Insulation tier Single-, double-, or triple-layer construction. Higher tiers cost more up front and pay back all summer in cooler garages across Mesa, Phoenix, and Chandler. Windows ### Window options The number of windows, glass style, and upgrades like Frost, Dark Tint, or DecraGlass insulation all shift the number on your quote. Hardware ### Decorative hardware Optional handles, straps, and hinges dial up curb appeal — they're a la carte, so you only pay for the pieces you actually want on the door. Wind Load ### Wind-load reinforcement Amarr's WindPro upgrade for Arizona monsoon straight-line winds, HOA architectural standards, or homeowners insurance requirements adds material to the build. Included ### Removal & haul-away Farnsworth's written quote always includes removing your old door, cleaning up your driveway, and hauling the old sections away — not a separate line item. [Get a Free Written Quote](https://farnsworthgarage.com/book-appointment-now/) [Call (602) 935-9766](tel:+16029359766) **HOA & architectural approval ready.** Amarr's carriage-house designs are widely accepted in Arizona HOA communities — Silverleaf, DC Ranch, McDowell Mountain Ranch, Verde River, Val Vista Lakes, Power Ranch, Morrison Ranch, and more. Farnsworth handles your architectural review paperwork if your HOA requires it. Ready to move forward? ## Ready to price your Amarr Horizon in Mesa or Phoenix? We're a local Amarr dealer. Horizon is an aluminum-framed full-view door with anodized aluminum and glass panels. It's Amarr's signature modern-showroom design, popular on architect-designed builds in North Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and the newer custom-home enclaves in Mesa. ### How many finishes does Horizon come in? Six anodized aluminum finishes plus 27 powder-coat and Kynar paint colors, giving you serious color and finish flexibility. The finish swatches on this page show every option, and we'll note your pick on the written quote. ### Is Horizon a good fit for hot Phoenix garages? Horizon is aluminum-and-glass by design, so it doesn't carry the R-value of an insulated steel door. If your primary concern is thermal performance on an attached-garage build in Phoenix or Mesa, we'd steer you toward an insulated Classica or Heritage. If modern architecture is the driver, we can pair Horizon with insulated glass to help. ### Can I choose different glass tints? Yes — Horizon supports 11 glass color and tint options, from clear to obscure to bronze-tinted to mirrored, so you can control how visible the garage interior is from the street. ### Does Horizon come in a windrated version for monsoons? Yes. Amarr offers wind-load reinforcement packages on Horizon where local codes require it, or where a homeowner wants extra protection on an open-lot build in the East Valley or San Tan Valley. ### How much does an Amarr Horizon cost to install in Arizona? Every Amarr Horizon install is quoted after we see the door opening, so pricing depends on real specs — door size, the MultiView aluminum frame finish (33 options), glass tint choice, panel configuration, hardware, and old-door removal. Farnsworth is a local Amarr dealer that quotes in writing so you can see every line item before you commit. Call (602) 935-9766 or request a free written quote for your specific home in Phoenix, Scottsdale, or the greater Fountain Hills area. ### How long does Amarr Horizon installation take in Mesa? Horizon is Amarr's architectural aluminum-and-glass line, and almost every build is specified panel-by-panel — that means there's effectively no stock path. Phoenix and Scottsdale installs schedule around Amarr's build window, which typically runs 2–4 weeks from order to install day depending on the glass and frame choices. Farnsworth's install team confirms the exact lead time with Amarr once the spec sheet is signed. ### Can I finance an Amarr Horizon garage door in the Phoenix area? Yes — Farnsworth's Amarr install team offers financing options for Horizon installs across Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, and the greater Phoenix area. Qualified applicants can spread the investment over monthly payments instead of paying up front, which helps when you're bundling a new door with an opener or hardware upgrade. Ask about our financing options when you request a quote. ### Does the Amarr Horizon qualify for a homeowners insurance discount? Homeowners insurance discounts are typically tied to WindPro-style wind-load reinforcement, and the Amarr Horizon isn't built around that reinforcement package by default — it's an architectural or custom-build door where the design is the point. If wind-load compliance is a priority for your Phoenix home, look at Amarr Classica, Heritage, or Olympus, which are all available with WindPro. Farnsworth's local Amarr dealer team can quote either path so you can weigh curb appeal against insurance savings. ### Which Amarr collection is best for Arizona sun and heat? The Amarr Horizon isn't an insulated collection — it's optimized for architectural design, not thermal performance. For maximum Arizona heat control, look at Amarr Classica (up to R-13.35 triple-layer polyurethane), Heritage, or Olympus (up to R-19.40), which all carry real polyurethane cores. Farnsworth's local Amarr dealer team can quote Horizon for the curb-appeal factor and pair it with high-R insulation on other openings, or steer you to an insulated collection if your Phoenix or Mesa garage runs hot. ## Why Choose Farnsworth for Your Amarr Install ### Local Mesa-based family business Brigham and Riley Farnsworth run the company — brothers, both hands-on in the field and the office. The Farnsworth family name has been part of the East Valley business community for 60+ years, so you're hiring people whose reputation actually lives in these neighborhoods. ### Local Amarr dealer Farnsworth is an active local Amarr dealer serving Mesa and the greater Phoenix area. Every Amarr door we install is ordered factory-direct through our dealer account — no third-party distributor, no rotating retailer, no sub-contracted install crew. ### Multi-brand dealer We're dealers for Clopay, Amarr, and Invicta — three of the top residential garage door manufacturers in North America. That means we recommend the door that actually fits your home, not the one brand we're forced to push. If a different manufacturer is the better call for your project, we'll tell you. ### Free written quote, no pressure Every Amarr consultation is free. We measure your opening, walk the color and hardware options with you, and hand you a written itemized quote before you commit to anything. ### Own the whole workflow, end to end Measurement, factory order, install-day coordination, and after-install warranty support all live under our roof. The team that measures your opening is the team installing your door and the team you call if anything ever needs adjusting. No subcontractors, no rotating crews, no handoffs. ### We service what we install A garage door is a 20-year relationship, not a one-and-done sale. Farnsworth stays your service company for the life of the door — tune-ups, spring replacements, opener repairs, warranty claims. One number to call, one team that knows your install. ### Licensed, insured, background-checked Arizona ROC-licensed (License #351810), fully insured, and every crew member is background-checked before they set foot on your driveway. Not the license number of a national franchise — our own name on the license, our own team on the truck. ### Same-day service across the Phoenix area Same schedule across all 13 cities we serve — Mesa (our home base), Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Scottsdale, Tempe, Phoenix, Fountain Hills, Gold Canyon, Apache Junction, Maricopa, and Guadalupe. Same-day scheduling is our standard for repair and consultation calls. Financing available ## Buy the garage door you actually want — not the one that fits this month’s cash on hand. Would highly recommend and will use their services for future Garage Repairs. - **DeAnn Draper**Google review ★★★★★ We are so happy with the installation and quality of our new garage door but even more satisfied with the quality of service provided!! We were well taken care of from start to finish. I would recommend their product and services 100%!!! - **Melissa Mayes**Google review ★★★★★ Amazing service. Quick, responsive and honest. Highly recommend!!!! - **Holly Banks**Google review ★★★★★ Brigham got my broken spring fixed right away and did an awesome job! - **Tim Hackett**Google review ★★★★★ Great experience today with Brigham and Farnsworth. Garage Doors! Wife backed into and dented the bottom panel backing out of the garage before the door was fully open. Getting quotes and find since the door is 20 years old I can’t just replace the bottom panel. Brigham put a shoulder to the bend and straighted it, not perfect but better than it was, and added a couple of screw to keep things and place, for no charge! At some point will likely have to replace the door but this works for now! - **Jenny Jolley**Google review ★★★★★ Farnsworth Garage Door was quick to respond to me when our garage spring broke. Brigham came out same day and fixed it within and hour. His prices were better than anyone else we called on. I would highly suggest them and trust them to work with!!! - **Abby Hartman**Google review ★★★★★ Brigham from Farnsworth Garage Door Services was absolutely outstanding! He was incredibly kind, professional, and truly went above and beyond throughout the entire visit. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, answered all of our questions, and never made us feel rushed. What really stood out was how patient he was with our curious toddler. Instead of being bothered by all the questions, he happily walked him through what he was doing and made him feel included. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to our family. It’s rare to find someone who combines excellent workmanship with such genuine kindness and customer service. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Brigham and Farnsworth Garage Door Services to anyone! - **Craig Ahlstrom Jr.**Google review ★★★★★ It was great working w Brigham and Riley at Farnsworth Garage Door. Definitely recommend them to anyone! - **Mark David**Google review ★★★★★ Prompt and amazing service, and surprisingly honest that I didn't need to buy a new spring set for my garage door he was just able to tighten them up and save me a few hundred dollars from what I was expecting. 1 of 14 ## Cities We Install Amarr Garage Doors In (Arizona) Farnsworth is a local Amarr dealer based in Mesa, installing Amarr garage doors throughout the Phoenix metro.
